Because I haven't given a lot of awards out, I'm doing two here. TIE:

Red Dragon

That dude's back tattoo of the red dragon was intense!!!! When the Red Dragon disrobes and shows that back off, everybody is just like, "damn"...that is creepy in the best way possible.....

Pharrell of the Neptunes

He isn't exactly new on the scene, but it seems like over the last year, Pharrell has really come out strong and turned into an pop icon. Along with trucker hats and great beats, he's always sporting his nice sleeves.

Skin (http://ineradicablestain.com/skin.html)

I really think that this is an amazing project. 2095 people will become the words of Shelley Jackson's newest short story. I became a word this October, and it's one of the best things I've ever done. Art, literature, and body modification, all rolled into one! The idea of a tattoo project isn't exactly new, but the literary aspect is a fresh twist. Here's your chance to become a part of speech!

IAM:Pregnant Forum

This forum was a great place to visit through the first part of the year before our son was born. It was an invaluable resource of information and reassurance. My thanks go out to Orinda and all the members for maintaining a wonderful place for expectant mothers and their partners.

Modified Mind

I'm going to hand that to you -- Modified Mind. Maybe it's an "endurance" award as well? Modified Mind, like BME, has been around a long time and consistently and successfully stuck to its original mission while constantly improving. I don't believe that there's a fan site that can compare to it. Especially given that it doesn't have the financial firepower of BME, I think Modified Mind deserves incredible credit for sticking with it and continuing to put out fresh and original content "for and by" body modification enthusiasts.
