BME

BME is the largest resource I know of in this field, so for this category there is no competition really. With the volume of experiences and photos out there, and the variety of extreme mods covered, there is something for everyone.

I have to go with the obvious on this one. BME is no where near new but is, in my opinion the leading site on body modification on the internet. Covering everything from the most mainstream piercing to the most extreme fetish body mod or ritual event.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, here's BME again. The Hard and Extreme sections are just amazing. I couldn't even think of any reasonable competitors. These sections have opened my eyes to things I couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams. The pictures and experiences within these have lead me to believe that if you can imagine it, you probably can do it (at least someday).

BME

Once again, BME is the clear cut leader. Basically every aspect of extreme modification is covered here, from simple genital piercing and tattooing all the way down to amputation and nullification, they’ve compiled a great archive. Jumping a step ahead of everyone else, they also offer the Extreme2 which deals with the “lighter” extreme mods, not to mention BME/Hard, which has the most sexual play (CBT, chastity, torture, straight up sex, etc) you’ll find around, not to mention they’re real people, not paid models.

BME

There are really only three sites to choose from on the Internet that cover this material -- BME/extreme, The Eunuch Archive, and SPC. The Eunuch Archive is a great site with a huge community and active forums, but ultimately it's a fantasy site (and a single-topic one) so I don't think it entirely counts. SPC isn't really being updated much any more. BME/extreme is updated weekly, has tens of thousands of pictures and stories, and is still breaking new ground after all these years, plus it regularly releases FAQs and other information... I hate to be an ass and nominate myself again... but... I have to vote for BME/extreme. That said, I'm seeing some exciting sites popping up in non-English speaking countries where there may still be a void in the "market", so who knows... I may vote differently here in a year or two!

BME

I pretty much know that if I need any information, any picture, any experience, or any thing related to body modification, if it isn't on this site, then it probably isn't anywhere else. It's my first and almost only source for bod-mod entertainment. The galleries are updated frequently, the glossary, the FAQ, the Risks, they already had everything before...and now this year there is the addition of guest columns and a more inspired political edge...I really don't think anything else is even close to BME and I can't really think anything will be, ever.

Part of the reason I can't give awards in some of the other categories is because I never have reason to look beyond BME and don't know about the existence of other sites. So once again, congrats to the BME team for doing the best job on the planet.
