Trevor Marshall's Oceanic Tatau

http://www.oceanictatau.com/

Trevor Marshall's Polynesians style work is some of my favorite around, and his style is superb, straight lines, excellent filling ... His site is also one of the few shop sites that actually show good quality photos of his work. I love his stuff.

BME

http://www.bmezine.com

BME has one of the most comprehensive and complete sites around. There is everything from pictures of your favorite piercing to experiences by thousands of different people, staff to answer questions you may have, and so many more resources for anyone interested in almost anything.

FiveTwo Tattoo

http://fivetwotattoo.com/

FiveTwo Tattoos is home to 3 great artists. These guys do primarily custom work and are good at what they do. The shop is beautiful and their work is amazing. The site offers a look at the artists' tattoos, artwork and a view of the beautiful shop. The website is very well done, the photography is great, their site also has hidden naked girls!

King of Fools

http://www.kingoffools.com

Shane Faulkner is probably one of my favorite artists. The site has almost every different style of tattoo you could think of and all done beautifully. It's a simple sight that lets you focus on the quality of the work. Easily navigated and generally very informative.

Same reasons behind my vote for Best Piercing Website -- BME has the most, and it's easy to find what you're looking for. There are numerous artists' websites that offer amazing portfolio, and collectors' websites that showcase their gorgeous tattoos, but no one does it like BME (what a great motto).

Wow. Not only does Paul Booth do amazing tattoos, but the website is a visual mindfuck. Awe inspiring tattoos, great site design, nice catalog, you can’t go wrong with Mr. Booth.

Tattoos.com

I think BME does the best job representing tattoo *enthusiasts* -- it's hundreds of times larger and broader than any other site. As far as sites representing professional tattoo artists I'm not really qualified to cast a vote so I'll again nominate TATTOOS.COM, also entering its tenth year in 2004.

I pretty much know that if I need any information, any picture, any experience, or any thing related to body modification, if it isn't on this site, then it probably isn't anywhere else. It's my first and almost only source for bod-mod entertainment. The galleries are updated frequently, the glossary, the FAQ, the Risks, they already had everything before...and now this year there is the addition of guest columns and a more inspired political edge...I really don't think anything else is even close to BME and I can't really think anything will be, ever.

Part of the reason I can't give awards in some of the other categories is because I never have reason to look beyond BME and don't know about the existence of other sites. So once again, congrats to the BME team for doing the best job on the planet.
